Energetic and fun exercises with fellow students are designed to help access creativity, boost self-confidence, and develop spontaneity, playfulness, empathy and communication skills. The Training Centre hosts camps 3 times a year (Winter Break, March Break and Summer – July & August). Camps focus on character development, improv games, and expanding the narrative. The ensemble and teamwork is also strongly emphasized. The camp program follows a curriculum developed with references to Viola Spolin, Keith Johnstone and other renowned educators. The Second City camps are taught by talented, experienced Second City instructors/actors. Youth and teens are welcome to take as many camp sessions as they would like – the fun is ever-changing!
