Kids Kayak Camps
Teaching your children to kayak is to change their lives forever. Externally we teach them to kayak and water safety. Internally, we teach them self confidence. We use our same proven method but gear it towards pre-teens. We perfected our technique on our own children. Give your childern the gift of paddling. Kids must be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian who is enrolled in our kayak school, adult adventure camp or paddlers package.
We are not kidding! With Jackson Kayak’s Kids Line of boats we can start teaching at 7 years old. Parents, don’t forget CANADIAN KIDS qualify for the new $500 Children’s Fitness Tax Credit.
Teen Kayak Camp
Teen Kayak Camp is specially designed resident program geared to ages 12-16 and might just be a life changing experience for your son or daughter. Teens are welcome alone in the resident camp or as day students if the family is at WT for an Adventure Week Program.
The Teen Kayak Camp is the first step on the road to good summer jobs as river guides and kayak instructors. Successful graduates of the Teen Kayak Camp are eligible to enroll in WT’s world famous Keener Program. |
