Yat San Chinese School teaches Chinese in Cantonese and Mandarin. It also conducts Mandarin conversation classes for youth and adults.
Mr. Simon Tse, Principal, and his school committee members are volunteers; they all have years of experience in education.
Teachers are professionally trained and have ample experience in teaching Chinese in Canada.
Topics to be taught relate to Canadian society thus will be familiar to and easily understood by local students. This will afford students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in school to their daily lives.
The school endeavours to create an environment which fosters student participation. The school also provides various academic and cultural events to maintain the interest of the students in both Chinese language and culture. |
