Description: |
The Toronto Downtown Summer Band is held annually in July. The band provides opportunity to many students across Toronto in discovering their potentials and expands their capabilities in music. Operating for over 10 years, the band is lead by qualified instructors and staff-aids with intimate knowledge of their instruments. Students who apply should be between grades 4 and 8 and have at least one year of experience playing a band instrument.
Students do not have to be attending Toronto District School Board schools to apply. However, students are expected to find a source of transportation to travel to and from rehearsal.
