The Richmond Hill Gymnastics Club is a non profit organization established in 1984.
All coaches at the gym are Nationally qualified instructors with levels 1, 2, or 3 and most are former athletes from the club. We boast a very low turn over of coaches and are very proud of their professionalism and teaching abilities.
Our club is structured to move up in levels as children advance. Children start as early as the age of 1 year, with the parent and tot program. At the age of 3 they graduate into a class without parent participation. At this age children begin to branch into levels of their own ability. However, children may begin at any age, regardless of skill level. The highest skill level in both girls and boys programs advance to Interclub competitive, Provincial, or National level competition. As our gymnasts reach the age of 15 they may become coaches in training. At 16 they take their certification courses and we can provide job opportunities for these young adults.
Our gym is fully equipped with both boys and girls apparatus, including 3 large foam filled pits for maximum safety in landings, full sized trampoline and exclusive to our club our "Canadian Challengers Arena".
Our birthday parties are the best around and children come back year after year. Our holiday camps are unique, challenging, and full of activity. We put children first and strive to provide the best program in York Region. |
