DramaWay has been a process-oriented company since we began in 1999. Our philosophy is to place great emphasis on the process of creation; the experience of embarking on a journey together. In every DramaWay project we undertake, we strive to promote social development, enhance self-esteem, and improve communication skills.
DramaWay offers their DramaWorks, LeadershipWorks & RhythmWorks Programs across the GTA. They also offer a Multi Arts Enrichment Summer Camp Program in the evenings as well as during the day in the summer months.
WigglyWorks, PlayWorks a child centred Creative Drama Program and PartyWorks - A Birthday Party Celebration Program is also available off-site.
DramaWorks been featured on CBC’s Moving On TV program, the Homemakers Magazine, Mississauga News, The Scarborough Mirror, The Annex Gleaner, The Booster as well as The Oakville Beaver. Our DramaWorks program at Erinoak was nominated as one of two finalists in the Emerging Performing Arts Group category at the 2004 Mississauga Arts Awards. The Erinoak Drama Program then won the Emerging Performance Art Group the following year. DramaWay also continues to be recognized by Community Living Toronto as a valuable community partner. Besides the numerous evening DramaWorks programs being offered across the cit. DramaWorks is currently being run at Erinoak, Community Living Mississauga & Burlington, Pegasus Community Project while WigglyWorks & PlayWorks is run at several Montessori Schools and Child Care Centres across the GTA. RhythmWorks is also run at several schools such as Maplewood High School, David and Mary Thompson Collegiate and West Hill Collegiate.
