Birthday Parties
Dance Kids Canada offers parents a great opportunity to hold a fabulous birthday party for your child. Our party facility and dance studio provides entertainment and fun for everyone involved. We offer a wide range of music options and have a great deal of experience in create unique, fun and safe parties for children. Themes: Hip Hop Party, Ballet Party, Princess Party
CLASS TYPES:
Creative:
This class enhances students‚ creative abilities and expression. Our class focuses on musicality, co-ordination, and listening skills, along with introducing the children to basic ballet techniques.
Ballet:
Our Ballet classes are based on the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus. The syllabus is recognized world wide and truly prepares children for a world of dance. In this class we further the student‚s technical, musical and spatial skills. Exams in ballet are highly recommended. They allow the students to work consistently through the year to reach an attainable goal.
Jazz:
This is a class that combines classic Broadway jazz technique with movements seen in pop music today. This class is energized with upbeat pop music and a great cardiovascular workout.
Hip Hop:
Hip Hop class revolves around an urban beat. Classes are held to R&B and Hip Hop music. Our focus is to encourage enthusiasm and energy. This class can be enjoyed by anyone with our without and dance background.
Tap:
In this class you are the musician and your feet, the instrument. In this class the emphasis is on learning musical phrasing and rhythms. Expect a fun and funky class.
Broadway:
This class is designed to give your child the basics of acting, signing and dancing. At the end of this course we will produce a short musical play.
CAMPS
Our camp has successfully been operating for three years in the East York community and we wish to make this year the best ever. This exciting program is enjoyed by children ages six to ten. We offer full day sessions along with before and after care to assist a busy parent's schedule. Our weekly itinerary consists of Drama, Vocal, Broadway, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Arts and Crafts, Choreography, and special Theme Days. Every week will conclude with a fun and fantastic Showcase Performance held in our studios. Our fabulous instructors look forward to seeing your smiling faces this upcoming summer.
