The Giles School is a co-educational, French immersion private school from Pre-K (2.5 years) to Grade 12. The Giles School offers a first come, first served admissions policy in the conviction that our program will improve the scholastic attainment and intellectual development of any child.
Because children are especially receptive to learning from until age 5, The Giles School provides early exposure to enriched curriculum starting in Pre-K with a comprehensive, multisensory program that increases student’s learning potential and academic achievement. Producing better French speakers than other options, intensive French Immersion at The Giles School begins in Pre-K, capitalizing on children’s optimal language learning capacity, already waning by age 5. Beyond the advantage of native fluency in both national languages, children benefit from improved mental agility and academic performance across all subjects including English.
Emphasis on early, multiple language acquisition continues with the introduction of Japanese or Mandarin in Grade 1, making The Giles School one of the most comprehensive language schools in Canada.
