Description:	Town Centre Montessori Private Schools (TCMPS), founded in 1986, is one of Canada's largest Montessori-based private schools, with a current enrollment of approximately 1,500 students. The school provides students from the Pre-School to Grades 12 levels with a rigorous and highly enriched curriculum with a special focus on traditional, academic subjects. In addition to its strong academic focus, Town Centre Montessori Private Schools also teaches good work habits, study and organizational skills and the importance of teamwork in achieving goals. This comprehensive, academic focus has allowed graduates from TCMPS to experience great success at Canada's leading universities. In addition to traditional subjects such as Language, Math, Science and Social Studies, students at TCMPS also receive in-depth instruction in computer science, music, art and physical education. With state-of-the-art facilities, students study in bright, spacious classrooms, as well as science and computer labs, art and music studios, and full-size gymnasiums. A tremendous variety of extra curricular programs are offered to students including band, piano, choir, hip hop, ballet, jazz, sports, chess, science and computer clubs. As well, TCMPS students also successfully participate in competitive, varsity sports with other private and public schools throughout the GTA.
