Guiding has impacted the lives of girls and women since its inception in 1910. Many new ideas have been tried and developed to offer programming to best meet the needs of today girls and Guiders - change is a constant process - with today's high paced technology - change seems to come with an even faster speed than ever before.
As adults we are able to add our girl years of Membership to our adult years which are symbolized on the new pin. Whatever our years of service we are fortunate to belong to a dynamic organization that strives on giving service to our communities and allowing us all to reach our full potential. Our organization must constantly change in order to find new and improved ways to best utilize the resources of our Members. Our focus must be to "get off the fuss bus and onto the change train" During 2005 we experienced the growing pains of using the new Safe Guide - as we learned to use the Safe Guide properly. Trainings happened all year long.
