YMCA John Island Camp is the summer camp and residential outdoor and environmental education centre of YMCA Sudbury. We are located near the town of Spanish, Ontario Canada. This summer will be YMCA John Island Camp’s 52nd year of operation. YMCA John Island Camp is proud of our reputation for providing high quality camp experiences in a fun, caring, and safe environment. We serve children, young adults and adults (girls, boys, teens, and families) through traditional camp programs, leadership development, and wilderness travel programs.
Programs at the camp include canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, arts and crafts, international programs, rock climbing, and adventure programs—to name only a few! All camp programs, meal time programs, and special interest clubs are offered as well.
