Sunrise Montessori School warmly welcomes you and your families to our website. We serve children ages 18 months through 6th grade. Here at Sunrise Montessori, education is not just a passage of knowledge, nor rote memory. We believe in developing your child's thinking skills, teaching your child how to learn, develop your child's interests in the world which we live through practical learning experiences. We teach our children to be compassionate, responsible, respectful, and self-motivated. We look forward to continued growth during the next few years. We welcome a visit from you!
Sunrise Montessori School aims to create the most nurturing and supportive environment for all our students, so each student has the opportunity to experience academic and personal success. We are committed to preparing an environment for young children that enriches the whole child, meeting the physical, intellectual, social and psychological needs of children ages 18 months to 12 years of age.
With the school motto being "Education for Life", Sunrise Montessori works to begin the learning process of children, and help them further pursue the skills, knowledge and attitudes that are necessary to lead them in successful lives. We are committed to assisting the child's natural process of unfolding that occurs as he creates herself from her experiences in the world. We are committed to providing an atmosphere in which the child can develop respect for himself, others, the environment and the tools he uses in work and play.
We also go the extra mile in building a vital relationship with the community of parents, working with the parents to mutually help the children prepare their environment, both at home as well as in school.
