Toronto Waldorf School provides a rich education to prepare children to meet the challenges of our world and the future with clarity of thought, a caring heart and confidence to initiate change. It employs a fully developed approach that addresses the whole child: head, heart and hands. The integrated curriculum presents the right thing at the right time, moving the developing child to learn and grow in an atmosphere of respect for each child's uniqueness.
The balanced, comprehensive education at Toronto Waldorf School integrates academic achievement with hands-on experience in an artistic environment. Humanities and sciences are blended with art, languages, music, movement, handwork and practical activities to meet the needs of the developing child.
Toronto Waldorf School is a fully accredited, independent, co-educational school for children from birth to Grade 12. It employs the methods and principles of Waldorf education. The first Waldorf school was established by Austrian scientist and philosopher, Dr. Rudolf Steiner, in Germany in 1919.
