The writing system developed by Dr. J.B. Webster spans over half a century of classroom implementation and development. From a one-room log school in Northern Saskatchewan teaching fifty-five students in grades one through ten, to training Ph.D. candidates at prestigious universities, Dr. Webster brings a rare breadth of wisdom and experience to the discipline of writing.
Dr. J.B. Webster’s initial vision for the establishment of courses dedicated to the systematic teaching of measurable writing skills arose from the universal frustration of university professors of first year students who routinely experienced the abysmal lack of writing competence found among incoming students.
