The Dragon Fencing Academy is York Region's premier fencing center. We are a private fencing school and martial arts studio offering expert instruction in western Olympic sport fencing and eastern Japanese kenjutsu and bujutsu,
We teach Olympic fencing styles in foil, épée, and sabre to youth, teens, and adults.
We have beginner, recreational, intermediate, advanced, and private classes. We offer spring break and summer camps for youth and teens, which consists of 1/2 day (3-hour lessons) fencing, martial arts and yoga specific exercises, activities, drills, games, sparring, and meditation. All fencing courses qualify for the 2007 Children's Fitness Tax Credit for children under 16.
We offer a safe, fun, social environment to learn the ancient art and sport of fencing. Fencing teaches individuals good sportsmanship, to compete with honour, dignity, and determination.
