Our goal, at CGS, is to provide a dynamic atmosphere for learning where children will be motivated to reach their academic potential.
Throughout the day, the children receive a good balance of activities and formal learning. Phonics forms the basis of our pre-reading and reading programs, and the children are exposed daily to a stimulating language arts program. Mathematical skills are developed with the help of manipu-latives, and the children also explore the areas of History, Geography, Science and Computers. Our academic program is further en-hanced by classes in French, Music, Art, Drama and Physical Education. A variety of extra-curricular activities, clubs, and theme-related fieldtrips round out the pro-gram. Exposure to all of these areas will help ensure the child’s overall awareness of the world around them.
Weekday School Tours are offered monthly throughout the school year. Tours begin between 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and last approximately 20-30 minutes in length.
