Saturday Puppetry Classes for Kids!
Puppetmongers Theatre, led by master puppeteers, Ann Powell and David Powell, are offering Saturday Puppetry Classes for children in the spring of 2009.
Four Saturday afternoons, four different types of puppetmaking! Toy Theatre, Shadow Puppetry, Rod Puppetry, and Marionette. These hands-on workshops will cover the basics of construction, staging and manipulation.
For kids age 8-12. Parents/caregivers are welcome to stay!
Four Saturday afternoons from 2 to 5pm. April 25th to May 16th.
Register for all four, or pick to suit! Each class is a complete project.
April 25th: Toy Theatre
May 2nd: Shadow Puppetry
May 9th: Rod Puppetry
May 16th: Marionettes
Fees (includes materials):
All four classes: $100
Any three classes: $80
Any two classes: $60
Any one class: $35
