Description: |
Camp Ponacka, located on the shores of Baptiste Lake, near Bancroft, Ontario is a privately owned summer camp for boys ages 8-15. The campground encompasses 160 acres including shoreline and forest.
Boys ages 8 or 9 may come to Ponacka for either 2 or 4 weeks. Once a boy is age 10 or older, he attends camp for four weeks.
Ponacka is owned and operated by Don Bocking MSW, RSW and Anne Morawetz BNSc, RN. Anne's parents, Bruno and Gwen Morawetz founded Ponacka in 1947 and in 2006, Ponacka turned 60! Don and Anne's children, Chris, Graham and Laura have all been on staff at Ponacka
